The nitty gritty

Katie has been doing hair in and out of salons for 16 years from California to Costa Rica and now settled in Taos, New Mexico. In a quiet neighborhood you'll find the Desert Hare studio, using biodegradable green products from Hairstory Studios featuring the "no-poo" cream cleanser New Wash. She provides haircolor using Redken no-ammonia permanent Chromatics and Shades EQ Demi-permanent, so all grey water can be recycled. Natural looking hair extensions using high-quality 100% remy human hair from Babe hair extensions. 

Her approach is easy, wearable, beautiful hair. Whether you like a light  fade, long layers, a disconnected mullet, razored shag or a bouncy  bob- Katie is your girl.

 All Services are offered a la cart so you can tailor your appointment to your exact needs and budget.


Dry Haircut- $70/hr 


Hair Color- $70/hour 

  

Extensions- $90/hr

(cost of hair is additional and required as deposit after consultation)


Updo/Styling- $60/hr
